  9. My son is hearing …
My son is hearing impaired and after surgery has also benefitied from this program. But what a fantastic clip this is, Xervier is inspirational- well done for your hard work in this, parents need a big pat on the back when they are as devoted as you. My only gripe with the Baby Can read Program is the lack of translation from American. OK diaper is nappy on 1 set of cards but we have to hear diaper and Zeeebra elsewhere. Wish they made an english or aussie version. Cheers

  10. Wow that is so …
Wow that is so amazing! My daughter and her husband are adopting a baby girl with DS as soon as she is born in July, so I will be a new gramma! We were just talking today about how we want to use a similar program called Your Baby can read with her just as soon as we can. We are so excited and your video gives us great hope and new resolve to give her the very best we can. Thank you so much!

“inner construction of coherence” is a great way to put it (though I had to stop and think for a moment what it meant!). Thank you.

  24. Just so you know… …
Just so you know… we, with children with down syndrome, prefer to use the term, ‘typical’ in regards to chlldren without ds vs. the term “normal’. I would want to know what term to use if I was on the other end…. so I thought I’d share as well as fill in all readers on this. Thanks,.
