Creative, interactive preschool lesson plans snow theme?

I am in a Child Development class where high school students develop creative, hands-on, interactive, and intellectual lesson plans for the preschool the high schoolers run. The children are mostly age 3, some are 4 years old. Any teachers or moms on here that have websites with or know any creative, hands-on, interactive lesson plans that help children learn physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially and also help with gross/fine motor skills? Our theme is snow/winter and we don’t have that many activities planned yet. Thanks so much!

I have a site suitable for preschool and kindergarten. Scroll down this page, http://www.kindergarten-lessons.com/winter_theme.html, for lots of science and math type activities. One of my students’ favorites was when I would fill the water table with snow, sprinkle some diluted food coloring on top, and let them experiment with filling various size and shaped containers with snow.

Art and literature ideas too.
Sincerely,
Patricia

What is the best software for colour-grading films, animating & creating Interactive Websites?

Is there a software that does it all? :)

Colour-grading films you would be looking at a photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, you can either get the home version (Elements) which is about £60/$80 or you can go for something else. Photoshop is considered the best and is by far the most popular however it really all depends on what your budget is and what you are comfortable with using.

You will also want to download the Java SDK Development tools, this does require scripting knowledge but Java is essentially what all interactive websites are made with. Java or Flash are the most popular, however as with all Adobe products, Flash isn’t cheap.
You could always try programming in another language such as Python, C++ or C.

How does SQL work because I reading about websites being hacked.?

I keep reading about sites being hacked. And the vulnerability is SQL. How do they gain access to the data bases. I just want to know because im starting a I.T course soon and I want to understand as much as possible before I start.

Thank You in advance

SQL stands for Structured Query Language. This is a language used to retrieve data from databases.

SQL itself is not a vulnerability; the vulnerability is badly written SQL.

In particular, one of the most common problems is called SQL Injection. If you don’t have a programming background, this may be difficult to explain, but the basic idea is that a program is using user input as part of an SQL query directly. An attacker can use this to manipulate the SQL that is executed on the server. Depending on how badly the query is set up, this may allow the attacker to do anything from steal data he shouldn’t be able to see, to damage or edit data he shouldn’t be able to edit.

Fortunately, there are very easy ways to defend against SQL Injection attacks in most programming languages and environments. As one programmer once remarked, preventing SQL Injection attacks is roughly as difficult as sitting on a couch. However, to do this, the programmer has to know that SQL Injection exists, and know that he should be taking steps to prevent it. Many beginning programmers, especially self-taught ones, won’t know this.
