    we spell it “baka”…i’m a filipino-japanese so it’s fun using “baka” as pun..like, “i wanna eat baka (beef/cow in filipino)” but can also be construed as “i wanna eat baka (as in stupid)” for funsies. haha.
    and yes you are right about the origin of the Philippines’ name.
