    i was almost too sure that for the examples she was going to use “toukyou [Tokyo]” cuz that’s where i know the kanji “tou” from xD

    I heard that you need to know at least about 2000 Kanji’s to read a newspaper which is a lot, but on top of that every(?) Kanji has multiple readings… I don’t know how you will ever memorize alle the Kanjis and it’s readings…
