Helpful Websites for Learning About Big Trucks?

Does anybody have any good websites I could visit to learn about big trucks, loaders, backhoes, cranes, and other heavy equipment? Preferably their engines, and the air brakes for big trucks?
I am planning on applying for a course and I want to know as much as I can before the course.

My family owns a company that deals with heavy equipment so I will get lots of practical experience while I wait for them to review my application, but I want to learn as much as I can.
