What are good websites for kids?

My kid just got her first computer but she is bored with it now. She doesn’t know what to play. Can you please give some websites that she might like? I usually only let free games but if they are worth it okay.

How old is she? The following are a few my 4yo likes:

www.rainbowmagiconline.com
www.wordworld.com
www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies – especially Numberjacks!
www.abc.net.au/children
www.charlieandlola.com

Also try the official Wiggles website if she’s in that age range. Or ReadingEggs if you’re looking at more educational (paid) program.

But if she’s happier doing other things, I would encourage her as it’s much easier to get children onto the computer than off it and into other activities! Try to limit TV and computer time if you can!!
