What are some free and fun preteen websites that are appropriate?

I need some fun websites for my preteen because she is so board with the ones she has now. Something like miley world but free and fun. Maybe where she can chat with people or something.

NEOPETS! no lie… you might think its for little kids but it is so much fun.

    You should be *very* careful about allowing pre-teens to chat with people that she doesn’t know. In general, I’d recommend against it.

    But a great pre-teen site IMO is neopets.com, and occasionallyI am bored.com. Neopets though has games, activities, TONS of things that kept me busy for weeks back in the day.

    clubpenquin is a great website it has filters so no one could curse if you curse you will be banned for 3 days
    zwinky you have to download not quite as safe as clubpenquin you could curse and i suggest you keep a close eye on her
