What are some websites where I can print out worksheets for tutoring reading?

I’m tutoring students in grades 2 – 7 (some HS.) I need to find a website where I can print out worksheets for reading comprehension and language arts. I’ve been using edHelper.com, but have exhausted the materials there. The site doesn’t have to be free, I don’t mind paying. Thanks for any info!

Try doing a search by the name of the author you want to read. There are sites dedicated to specific authors that have their works online.

Just short paragraphs where the students can practice finding the main ideas, details..etc…
Also, any 7th or 8th grade math word problems?

However rather than just downloading lots and lots of EBooks that you may never get around to reading, why not consider what information you require and use Google to search on that with “EBook” as a separate word in the search?

The chances are that you’ll come across my top 10 sites anyway but at least this way your searching time is focussed on finding answers quickly so that you can get learning ASAP.

The article also covers how youtube and video is being used to promote ebooks and therefore alternative ways of finding an ebook that you might be interested in.

Can’t ALL websites be used to read and test your comprehension of what you read, and then summarize it? I mean, even if a website is nothing but anime cartoons, can’t you just test your comprehension and summarize what you see and saw????

Neuroscience for n00bs: Where to start reading

This is aimed at people who have got an interest in neuroscience, and are considering studying it at college/uni, whatever. Most of it is talking about the websites/texts that I use, and the rest is a bit about what I am doing.

how long would you estimate a good sight reading ability would tak with daily practice for somone who knows the basics and is a proficient bass player
